Revelation explained!

John Eats The Book, that He might Prophesy to Many Nations.

Revelation chapter 10:1-3

1. And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud:and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

2. And he had in his hand a little book open:and he set his right foot upon
the sea, and his left foot on the earth,.

3. And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth:
and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices."

In verse one, the mighty Angel is the Lord Jesus Christ. He comes clothed with a cloud. The cloud is always used in connection with the presence of the glory of God.

*The cloud led Israel, Exodus 13:21-22.
*The cloud appeared on Mount Sinai, Exodus 19:9-25.
*The cloud proclaimed the name of the Lord, Exodus 34:5-7.
*The glory of God also filled the tabernacle. Exodus 40:34-38.
*The cloud filled the temple, 2 Chronicles 5:12-14.
*The cloud was upon the mercy seat, Leviticus 16:2,
  Exodus  25:22
.
*A cloud also overshadowed Jesus and the disciples
 on the Mount of Transfiguration, Matthew 17:5 ;
*A cloud received the Lord Jesus Christ when He                       ascended, Acts 1:9,
*And Jesus will come again in the clouds,
 Matthew 24:30
, Revelation 1:7, and Daniel 7:13.

The rainbow on His head is a token of the Mercy of God and the remembrance of the covenant of promise which is found in the rainbow which is always about the throne of God...

Genesis 9:8-17
Ezekiel 1:28, and Revelation 4:3.

Genesis 9:8-17
8. And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,

9. And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

10.
And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.

11.
And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

12.
And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

13.
I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

14.
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

15.
And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

16.
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

17.
And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

Ezekiel 1:28
“As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.”

Revelation 4:3
“And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.”

"His face as it were the sun," is the symbol of the Glory of God in strength...

Matthew 17:2Revelation 1:16, and Acts 26:13.

Matthew 17:2
“And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.”

Revelation 1:16
“And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.”

Acts 26:13
“At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.”

"His feet as pillars of fire." Pillars are symbolic of strength and support. The fire and glory are symbolic in judgment.

When Samson was led to the two pillars of the temple, judgment was pronounced upon the Philistines. The mighty Angel (Jesus) has the power and strength to consummate God's plan and finish the ministry.

Revelation 10:2
"And he set His right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth."
.....

He takes full possession of the Universe. The description of this mighty Angel is
clearly described as the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, Who also is spoken of as the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

He set His right foot upon the sea and His left foot upon the earth, and cried with a loud voice like a Lion. No longer the voice of a meek Lamb, but the voice of a roaring Lion of the tribe of Judah. A voice of strength and victory.

He has won a great victory in defeating the Devil. He had brought His Elect into a state of Perfection, a complete New Creature. He had tested and tried Them as His Bride to be. He had a reason to shout aloud.

Revelation chapter 10:3-4
3. And cried with a loud voice, as when a Lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

4. And when the seven thunders had uttered
their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not."

What the Seven
Thunders uttered was in connection to the Church, and the finish of the Mystery of God. What did John hear that he was not permitted to write?........

Paul also was caught away into heaven and heard things which were unlawful to utter on earth...

2 Corinthians 12:1-4

1. It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

2. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the

body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

3. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the
body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;).

4. How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard
unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.”

Both Paul and John saw and heard things which they were not permitted to reveal. Because of the carnal minds of all earthly people, the words were sealed, and can only be revealed by the Spirit to those of a pure mind.

At the sound of the loud voice, the Trumpet Angel, the voice of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the secret of the Lord will be revealed to the Church in the proper time,

Amos 3:4- 8
4. Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing?.

5. Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?.

6. Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?.

7. Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

8. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

The time for pregnancy was at hand, the persecution of the Son of Man, as a child being born out of adultery is minor to the persecution which the Church will suffer at this time.

But Jesus will stand by Her side, and the GREATEST MINISTRY of the Church will be conducted under the
persecution of this hour, until the Child is born and caught away to the throne of God, Revelation 12:2 and Revelation 12:5.

Revelation 12:2
“And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.”

Revelation 12:5
“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron:and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.”

Revelation chapter 10:5-6
5. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,.

6. And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer."
........

This is not the End of time or the End of the world, but it is the End of the Great Mystery of Christ and His Church.

THE MYSTERY

Jesus, when speaking of the New Birth, the newborn child, said:John 3:12 "If I have told you earthly things and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?"

This is one of the GREAT MYSTERIES of God that seemingly is so hard to understand by many. The birth of the Manchild through the Church is also another Mystery of God which has not been fully understood, except by a few. And when it is fully revealed, it will bring a reproach upon the Church, from both within and without.

This is the Mystery that all heaven has been waiting for. The Mystery of God is the events of Christ and His Church...

Ephesians 5:32, "This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church."

Read verses 25-32 (below).

The finished Mystery of God, will bring about the Perfect Church...

Revelation 12:1- 2
1. And there appeared a great wonder in
heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2. And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.”

Ephesians 5:25-32
25. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26.
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27.
That he might present it to himself a glorious church,  not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29.
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but  nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the  church:

30.
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32.
This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

The Mystery of God's Salvation ends at the taking out of the Woman Into the wilderness, which brings the end of the first woe or the fifth Trumpet.

The sixth woe is released at the beginning of the Antichristal Reign, and the seventh Trumpet sounds and the third woe is released at the beginning of the Battle of Armageddon.

Revelation chapter 10:7
"But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets."

After John's vision of the finished ministry of the seventh verse, he had a complete change in his vision, which concerned the little book, and which was to take place before the mystery was finished.

Revelation chapter 10:8
"And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me AGAIN, and said. Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth."
....

The open Book was a very important matter. It was open
for the understanding of Its contents. But before It could be understood. It must be eaten so that It could be fully digested.

Revelation chapter 10:9-10
,
9. And I went unto the angel, and said unto him,
Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey,.

10. And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter."

John obeyed the voice from heaven and ate the little Book, and It was sweet as honey in his mouth. There is nothing more pleasant or sweeter to the man of God than the revelation of the mysteries of the Word of God.

We read, we study, and we wait on God. Hours slip by, and it seems as just a few moments, but when It is being digested in our belly, It sometimes becomes bitter, but the sweetness of the Word offsets the bitterness thereof.

Revelation chapter 10:11
"And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."...

How was he to prophesy before many
peoples?...JUST AS GOD HAS DECLARED TO HIS servants the prophets, the prophets Who still prophesy and declare the mysteries of God through the written Word: so is John prophesying the eaten Word in this Last Day.

The eating of the Book was preparatory to, and necessary to further the revelation that John had already received.

In Revelation 1:17
“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:”...

The hand of the Lord was laid upon him to enable him to receive the revelation of the Seven Churches.

In Revelation 4:1-2,
1. After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

2. And immediately I was in the spirit;
and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.”...

He was bidden to come
up hither, and he was in the Spirit to receive the revelation of the Seven sealed Book, and the sounding of the Seven Trumpets.

John needed to take the Book and eat It, in order to bring forth even greater revelations as shown in Revelation 11,12, and 13th chapters, and the chapters that were to follow.

To prophesy to many peoples, nations, and tongues also signifies the need in the Church to eat the Little Book to qualify for this Last Day Ministry, which will be to every nation, kindred, and tongue.

John's testimony is revealed by the reading of His written Word in the Bible.

Nothing takes the place of the Word of God. When the leadership of Israel was turned over to Joshua, he was told to meditate in the Book of the Law day and night.

This was needed to keep on the victorious side of life, We need to esteem It above our necessary food and It will be sweet as honey in our mouth.

Ezekiel 2:9-10
 and 3:1-3
,
 Jeremiah 15:16, Job 23:12.

Ezekiel 2:9-10
9. And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;.

10. And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.”

Ezekiel 3:1-3
1. Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

2. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

3. And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.”

Jeremiah 15:16
“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.”

Job 23:12
“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.”

Although the Word becomes sweet in our mouth as we eat thereof. It also becomes bitter in the inner man when dying out to the flesh.
