The eleventh chapter begins with the measuring of the Temple of God, His Building which is built of Lively Stones.

The Temple in which He will abide. Not an earthly Temple of wood and stone and made by the hand of man.
(Revelation 11)

Revelation chapter

"And there was given me a reed like unto a rod; and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein."

The Temple spoken of here is the Temple which is spoken of in Ephesians 2:21-22 ”In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:...In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”

It is a Temple put together by the Spirit, consisting of the bodies of humanity.

Note, that YE, God 's People, are builded together for a dwelling place of the Spirit of God. Note also, that we are FITLY FRAMED TOGETHER, and that we GROW INTO A HOLY TEMPLE of the Lord.

That is, we grow into holiness and righteousness by the embedding of His Spirit.

1 Peter 2:5
"Ye also, AS LIVELY STONES, are built up a SPIRITUAL HOUSE, AN HOLY PRIESTHOOD, to offer up SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES, ACCEPTABLE to God by Jesus Christ”...

We must grow into a qualified PRIESTHOOD,

Read 1 Peter 2:9
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”

1 Peter 2:2
"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:"
....

As newborn babes, we must be born of God's Spirit in order to become a Temple of God. It depends upon our Spiritual growth in the Fruits of the Spirit, whether we become a part of the Holy Temple of the Lord as One of His Elect.

The True Temple when completed, will be the perfected Elect Who are immune to the corruption of sin, and will become the wedded Wife of Christ Jesus after the glorifying of Their bodies.

The way to become a part of this Temple is by a progressive obedience to God's Word and will, after His Spirit has come into the Body. Please read these scriptures carefully...

1 Corinthians 3:16-17, 1 Corinthians 6:19,2 Corinthians 6:16,Ephesians 2:21-22,Revelation 3:12,and Revelation7:15Below.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17
16. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?.

17. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are."

1 Corinthians 6:19
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"

2 Corinthians 6:16
"And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people."

Ephesians 2:21-22
21. In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22. In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit."

Revelation 3:12
"Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

Revelation 7:15
"
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them."

Jesus declares His Own Body to be a Temple, a true ark of his covenant. John 2:19-21Matthew 27:51Mark 15:38, and Luke 23:45(below). When Jesus died on the Cross the veil of the temple (Herod's Temple) was rent in twain...

Thus, declaring the departure of God's Spirit, and signifying that He would no longer dwell in temples made by hands, but that He would dwell in His people.

To build a Spiritual Temple that will abide forever is the goal and the plan that He is now perfecting. If a literal temple is built again, God's Spirit will not abide therein.

John 2:19-21
19. Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up, just as the loud voice from heaven declared His resurrection.

20. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?.

21. But he spake of the temple of his body.

Matthew 27:51
"And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;"

Mark 15:38
"And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom."

Luke 23:45
"And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst."

The measuring rod is the standard of His righteousness and perfection. This is the will of God's purposed plan of creation,to create perfection in a People that sin cannot touch...

Ephesians 4:13
"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"

Not all will attain to perfection, so they must be measured accordingly. The Temple, the Perfect Building was measured and are Those which were taken into the wilderness, as the Bride of Christ.

The altar and those that worship therein were also measured. The altar is Those that dwell within the Temple. There are two separate groups of people.

The Temple is built of those which grew into perfection, and the altar is made of those who grew together with the Temple, but were unwise and grew only sixty fold in fruits.

They were not taken out into the wilderness, nor were they taken from the Antichristal Tribulation, but they love the Lord and preferred death rather than to take the Mark of the Beast...

Revelation 12:11
,
"And they
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.".....These are the remnant of the Woman's Seed Who missed the High Calling of Perfection.

The court without the Temple, is the thirty-fold, they who professed and never fully possessed. These are the ones who tried to get into heaven by some other way than bearing the fruits of Christ.

They entered into the court but were not able to enter the Temple Class. Their morality in the flesh bore only thirty fold in the Spirit. And then again, there were those who were dwelling in the court whose temple, or heart, was never an abiding place for the Holy Spirit.

These are those who will not bear any fruit and will be lost.

Revelation chapter 11:2

"But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months."
.....

Jerusalem, the once holy city of God on earth, will be the headquarters of the Antichrist during His 31/2  year Reign.

The rest of this chapter speaks of the Two Witnesses which God has prepared and reserved for this special ministry: to testify and torment the antichristal hordes, who trampled the blood of Jesus Christ under foot.

The 42 months is a period of 31/2 years. The 1260 days of prophecy of the Two Witnesses is also a period of 31/2 years.

This is the same period of time spoken of in the 12th chapter verse 6 describes how the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall strike the earth with every want to harm. destroy those who destroy. ”And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.”when the Woman is taken into the wilderness, where She remains, while the Antichristal Tribulation is taking place.

It is also the same period of time in verse 14,” And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.” spoken of as time, times, and half a time.

During the period of time when these prophecies were written, time was computed under the Mosaic calendar of 360 days in each year. Therefore, all prophecy must be interpreted thus.

Revelation chapter 11:3-5
3.

4. These are the two olive
trees, and the two lampstands that symbolize the two witnesses standing before the God of the earth.

5. And if any man will
hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed."

The Two Witnesses are not sent to preach Salvation, but to torture and prophesy to the wicked of their downfall which will shortly come to pass, and to lift up and maintain God's power over the Antichrist and the Beast.

Although God released Satan and His power, and allowed Him to rule the world for 31/2 years, Satan was reminded and tormented daily by the Two Witnesses that His time was short. They fulfilled the last half of the week which remained to be fulfilled in the seventy week prophecy.

Jesus Christ completed the first half of the seventieth week and then was hung on Calvary, and left the last half of the week unfulfilled, while the overspreading of abomination carried on until the Two Witnesses begin Their 31/2 year ministry.

The devils knew Jesus and His power, and the Two Witnesses never permitted them to forget Him, and they used Their supernatural power and strength daily.....

Revelation chapter 11:6

"These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will."

Revelation chapter 11:7-10
7. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8.
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great  city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9.
And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and  nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in  graves.

10.
And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

When They shall finish Their testimony at the end of the 31/2 years, God permits them to be killed by the Beast. And He permits Their bodies to lie in the street of the great City of Jerusalem
for 3 1/2 days, to be looked upon by all the people of all nations.

All the people on earth make merry and rejoice and send gifts one to another because These Two Prophets had tormented them that dwell on the earth.

Revelation chapter 11:11
"And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them."

It appears that the Lord let them suffer the cat and mouse game.

....
THEIR REJOICING SUDDENLY TURNED TO FEAR......

Rev 11:12
" And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them,
Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them."

Rev 11:13
"And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrightedand gave glory to the God of heaven."

Just because they gave glory to the God of heaven does not signify that God saved their souls. They gave glory to God because they feared Him and because they had been fully persuaded that He WAS the TRUE and ONLY GOD.

It is the purpose of God in the Last Day, to bring all men and nations to their knees in a confession that He IS the LORD of Lords. This theme is mentioned in both the major and minor prophets, the Book of Ezekiel is full of the phrases,"THAT THEY MIGHT KNOW the breath of life from God. THAT I AM THE LORD".

Revelation chapter 11:14
"The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly."

Immediately after the second woe finishes the third woe begins. The third woe ends with the destruction of all ungodly flesh at the Battle of Armageddon.

Revelation 11:15
"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. "
.....This is the 1,000 YEAR KINGDOM ON EARTH.

Verses 18 and 19
speaks of the judgment Seat of Christ when the righteous dead shall be judged and rewarded; and of the destruction of the ungodly, which is known as the Battle of Armageddon, and which will take place after the Antichristal Reign....

Revelation 11:18. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Revelation 11:19. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.”

Revelation 11:4

"These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the
God of the earth."....These Two are called the Two Witnesses.

WHO ARE THEY?.... heard a loud voice from heaven.Zechariah 4:14 "Then said he,These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth."

The LORD OF THE WHOLE EARTH is JESUS the Son of God. He was sent by the Father, and made everything that was made. He was the WORD, God's eternal Son, and was made flesh as the Lord of the earth. John 1:3,10,14.

He was anointed by His Father God and He became the Lamb which was slain for the remission of sins, and He was to bear witness of His Father, the Lord of heaven.

John 1:3
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

John 1:10
"He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not."

John 1:14
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)full of grace and truth."

Two other Men of this world were anointed to stand by Him. These Two Men were before Him and They were prepared to be Witnesses during the Tribulation.

God said that They were HIS and HE WOULD GIVE THEM POWER TO PROPHESY during the 31/2 years of Tribulation. These are the Two Olive Trees that stand by His Son throughout the earth.

Both of These Men were taken into heaven after They had witnessed, They were actually present at His ascension, which lasted for three and a half days. These Two visited Jesus when He was born.

They came from the East, the holy direction of God, the same direction that Jesus will come from when He comes again...

Matthew 24:27
” For as
the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

East is the direction of the SUNRISING, the glory of God in the Sun, the source from which life is maintained. These Men were not magicians or astrologers.

They were sent by God from heaven, and They were led by a Star. They knew that the Babe (Jesus) was God's Son, the WORD MADE FLESH.They brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh...

Gold
....The Deity of
God.
Frankincense....The fragrance of the Holy Spirit.
Myrrh....The
 bitterness of the soul.

These were special gifts sent from God the Father to
His Newborn. They represent the Life of His Son on earth. Although He was to manifest the Deity of His Father and the blessings of the Holy Spirit,He also suffered the bitterness of myrrh.

The birth of Jesus was witnessed by a host of angels from heaven, and then reported to the shepherds the "good news".

Luke 2:8-16
8. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them:and they were sore afraid.

10.
And the angel said unto them,Fear not:for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12.
And this shall be a sign unto you;Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God,and saying,

14.
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

15.
And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

16.
And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

Paul also bears witness of Their visit when he said,
"was seen of angels":

1 Timothy 3:16

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

At His resurrection These TWO Witnesses were CALLED MEN, who stood on their feet before the tomb...

Luke 24:4

“And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:”
, in ...

John 20:12

"And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain."
, They were CALLED ANGELS.

At Gethsemane an Angel strengthened Him...

Luke 22:43
"
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him..

At His Temptation in the wilderness for 40 days, ANGELS ministered to Him ...

Matthew 4:11
"
Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him."

Who are These (MEN,...ANGELS) that stand by the Lord of the whole earth, and appeared at important periods of the life of Jesus?...

They are the SAME Two that appeared with Him on the Mount of Transfiguration....

Matthew 17:3
"And, behold, there appeared unto them
Moses and Elias talking with him.”,Mark 9:4”And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses:and they were talking with Jesus.”…

Luke 9:29-31
29. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistening.

30. And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were MOSES AND ELIAS.

31.WHO APPEARED IN GLORY, and spake of his DECEASE WHICH HE SHOULD ACCOMPLISH AT JERUSALEM.

They brought Him gifts after He was born. They talked with Him on the mountain before three living witnesses, which were Peter, James, and John, about His coming death.

They were with Him in the Garden of Gethsemane while He was in great agony and distress, and THEY, (MOSES AND ELIJAH) strengthened Him....

THEY were with Him when He was tempted in the wilderness, They were with Him when He was raised from the tomb,....and They stood by Him when He was taken up into the cloud....

Acts 1:9-10
9. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

10. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;”

Four men were born on earth that were taken into heaven before the righteous resurrection takes place. They are, ENOCH, MOSES, ELIJAH,and the SON of MAN, (JESUS).

ENOCH was privileged to see the newborn Babe and He appeared with Moses and Elijah as One of the Wisemen.

But only Moses and Elijah lived in the days of miracles, and in the days of Israel, and because They actually lived in those days and experienced and witnessed the miracles and actions of God where They qualified to be prepared as the Two Witnesses and fulfill the last half of the 70th week of Prophecy.

In order to be a Qualified Witness, it was necessary that They also appear on earth with Jesus, and stand by Him in His times of suffering and His need of encouragement.

Note that the sixth verse of Revelation chapter 11, mentions some of the experiences of Moses and Elijah : the experiences that They ministered during Their ministry on earth....

Revelation Chapter 11:6 "These have
power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will."

Read about some of Their experiences in....
 1 Kings 17:1, James 5:17Exodus 7:19-20.

1 Kings 17:1
“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”

James 5:17
"Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months."

Exodus 7:19-20
19. And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

20. And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

In the study of the lives and ministries of Moses and Elijah, the Bible declares some outstanding similarities which binds them together as God's prepared Witnesses.

In one of Reverend W.W. Patterson's Bible Lesson Outlines, he itemizes the similarities which binds them together and I will quote:

1.
Both received divine revelations on Mount Horeb, in fire and other manifestations of God.

2.
Both fasted 40 days and 40 nights, before and unto the Lord.

3.
Both erected altars unto the Lord and saw God's Fire consume the sacrifices. Moses at Mt. Sinai, Leviticus 9:14-24,See belowand Elijah at Mt. Carmel,1 Kings 18th chapter.See Here

4.
Both were sent to wicked kings and were persecuted by them. Moses to Pharoah, and Elijah to Ahab.

5.
Both used the sword against idolatries. Moses against the worshippers of the golden calf, Elijah against the 400 prophets of Baal.

6.
Both divided the waters. Moses at the Red Sea by the Rod, Elijah at the Jordan by His mantle.

7.
Both were translated beyond the river Jordan. Moses by dying and being raised from the dead, Elijah by the whirlwind.

8.
Both had Spirit filled Successors who had been with Them. Moses had Joshua, Elijah had Elisha. Their successors also divided the waters. Joshua at the Jordan, and Elisha at the Jordan,

9.
Both Moses and Elijah saw the Fire of God consume Their enemies. Moses the 250 men at the rebellion of Korah, Numbers 16:35See below and Elijah the two groups of men who came against him, 2 Kings 1:10-11,
See below

10. Both appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration with Jesus,
 Matthew 17th chapterSee Here.

11. Both will appear as the Two Witnesses during the Great Tribulation,
Revelation 11:13-15.

See scriptures below....

Leviticus 9:14-24
14. And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

15.

And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

16.
And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.

17.
And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.

18.
He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,

19.
And the fat of the bullock and of the ram,the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:

20.
And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

21.
And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.

22.
And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

23.
And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.

24.
And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

Numbers 16:35
"And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense."

2 Kings 1:10-11
10.
And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

11. Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him,O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.

Revelation 11:13
"And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven."

 Revelation 11:14
"The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
"

Revelation 11:15
"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

Moses and Elijah are the Two Anointed Ones of Zechariah 4:14 that stood by the Lord of the whole earth.''Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.", God has prepared a special place for them in the Kingdom Age.

One will sit on the right and the other on the left of Jesus...

Matthew 20:20-23
20. Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

21. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.

22. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

23.
And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father."
....

Yes, Jesus was fully aware of the Ones Who would sit on His right and left hand, for it was fore-ordained of His Father.

REVELATION CHAPTER 11 speaks of those who are clothed in sackcloth.
  REVIEW

After eating the Little Book, John prepared to receive the understanding of what he was about to be shown concerning the Temple of God.

This is not a literal Temple, built by the hands of men, with stone, brick or material things as is generally believed today. But this is the real Temple which is being built now of LIVELY STONES, as a tenth of the city is given to the gentiles.

 1 Peter 2:5
"Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ."

Since the time of Christ, the literal temple is a thing of the past. Jesus shows His Own Body to be the Temple of God...

John 2:19-21
19. Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple,
and in three days I will raise it up.

20. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?.....But he spake of the temple of his body.”

Paul declares that our bodies are temples of God...

1 Corinthians 3:16-17
16. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?.

17. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

And that God is joining them together for a habitation of His Spirit....

Ephesians 2:21-22
21. In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22. In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the
 Spirit.”

The Temple that John saw was the Church of....

The Temple was not to be measured by inches, feet, or yards but by a Rod which is shown to be Jesus the Son of God. The Temple of God was to be measured to the standard of God, which Jesus set forth for the Church, through Himself.

This Temple is measured to meet the fulness of the standard of Jesus....

Ephesians 4:13

"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"

All of God's people will be measured by this same ROD, some to bear thirty fold, some sixty fold, and some to bear one hundred fold, and they, the one hundred fold, will be the Temple.

The Temple, the Altar, and all that worship therein are one in Christ, They must measure up to the full standard of Christ to be one in that City, the Bride, the Perfect Temple.

The Temple Worshippers are the one hundred fold. The Altar worshippers are the unwise virgins. The Court was not measured, for they bore no fruit.

They turned to the Antichrist and the city Jerusalem, was trodden under foot for 42 months or 31/2 years. The Temple and the Altar were measured and judged and received their qualification as God's People. This judgment is referred to as the Judgment Seat of Christ.
