Revelation 20 ..Satan is Bound for 1,000 years....Jesus sets upon the throne on earth....Wicked Dead are raised....Battle of Gog and Magog...White throne Judgment of the Wicked.

Revelation 20

This chapter declares the thousand years of the Kingdom
Age.
 Revelation Chapter 20.

It is known as the Millennial Age, or the Sabbath Day of Rest. It is the Last dispensation of a ONE THOUSAND YEAR DAY: God's day of one thousand years
:

2 Peter 3:8
"But, beloved,
be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day"

Psalms 90:4
"For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night."

This represents the answer to the prayer that Jesus asked all of His followers to pray about....

Matthew 6:9-10
9. After this manner therefore pray ye:Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10.Thy kingdom come.Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

When you pray, pray thus, Thy KINGDOM COME, Thy will be done ON EARTH, as it is in heaven...

This is not a natural kingdom of flesh and blood, as it takes place after the resurrection
of the righteous dead. This Kingdom is like unto the Kingdom in heaven. The righteous bodies will have been given their glorified bodies at the righteous resurrection.

Luke 17:21
"Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."

Jesus says that the Kingdom of God is CHRIST IN YOU, which is received at the
New birth, and returns after the death of the flesh, unto the new bodies given by God at the resurrection...

1 Corinthians 15:38
"But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body."

Romans 14:17
"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink;but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

"
Paul says that the Kingdom is not meat or drink, but righteousness and peace, and joy in the HOLY GHOST."

The Kingdom of God cannot be obtained by natural means of eating natural food or drink but is received by dying out to the natural and entering into the Spiritual which will bring righteousness and joy in the HOLY GHOST.

Luke 17:20
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:”

Neither can the Kingdom of God be seen in the natural, but it will be fully felt and enjoyed in that Kingdom Day when the flesh has become a thing of the past.

Colossians 1:13
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:”…

Paul says that we are translated into that Kingdom after we are delivered from the powers of darkness, into the KINGDOM OF HIS DEAR SON.

Although the process of deliverance begins when the Spirit of God comes into the body, the fulness of the Kingdom shall not be received until the fulness of the Kingdom of His dear Son, which is the Kingdom Age.

The power of darkness will be no more, for Satan and sin shall be bound for 1,000 years of Reign, with Jesus sitting upon the throne of HIS Kingdom.

1 Corinthians 15:42-58  Read Here This chapter is known as the resurrection chapter.

The trumpet of the Lord shall sound and the dead shall be raised an incorruptible body, a Spiritual body that God will supply. There will be no more flesh and blood. It will be a thing of the past. The righteous resurrection will produce a Spiritual body.

The 50th verse says that “flesh and blood shall not inherit the KINGDOM OF GOD." Paul goes on to say neither shall the corrupted body inherit the incorruptible. What is Paul saying?.....That there WILL BE NO CORRUPTION OR SINFUL FLESH DWELLING IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

At the resurrection of the righteous dead all will be taken into heaven. The "marriage and the marriage supper" will take place.

Then the Armies of heaven will return to earth and the Battle of Armageddon will take place and the earth will be cleansed, and the Kingdom of God shall be set up on earth for a 1,000 year Reign, After which there will be a New heaven and earth…

Isaiah
 65:17
"For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind."

Revelation 21:1
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."

Revelation 21:5
"And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
...

Jesus spoke of this Kingdom when He said, in Matthew 6:10 and Luke 11:2, ......Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done ON EARTH as it is in heaven.

This was the will of the Father that sits upon His throne in His heavenly Kingdom, that His Kingdom should be established on earth for His Son as the King, for a period of 1,000 years, before They entered into the New Heaven and Earth.

Revelation chapter 20 Verse 1-3
1. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2.
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3.
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

An Angel coming down from heaven, having the keys to the bottomless pit, with a great chain in His hand.

Read the 9th chapter, when the fifth Angel sounds His Trumpet, the key is given to an Angel to open the bottomless pit, and set a seal upon Him, that He should deceive the nations no more till the 1,000 year Kingdom should be fulfilled. Read 9th chapter Here

This Angel in Revelation chapter 20:1 is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Antichrist has been defeated, and Jesus has the key to the pit where Satan is kept until He is judged and cast into the lake of Fire.

Jesus is the only One Who can bind Him, and the only One Who can judge Him, John 5:22 "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:" He is bound for a 1,000 years and after the 1,000 years are over He is resurrected and judged.

All flesh will have been destroyed, and the righteous dead resurrected, and the 1,000 years have been completed.

The wicked dead are still in the grave, and will remain there until the thousand years are over. The only living Ones are the resurrected Righteous, Who reign in a sinless Kingdom of God upon earth for 1,000 years.

After that, Satan will be loosed for a little season. The binding of Satan, the Old Dragon, is not the binding of a man, but it is the binding of the spirit.

With the spirit of the Devil bound there can be no sin, for all sin is by the spirit, so no sin will be manifested until after the thousand years is over, and Satan is released for a little season from the pit.

Revelation chapter 20 Verses 4 and 5
4. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.”

Those Who sit upon the thrones are the twenty four Elders, or Apostles which were redeemed from the earth. Jesus has promised that the disciples who had continued with Him in His temptations, would be appointed a Kingdom even as His Father had appointed Him a Kingdom.

That is. He would appoint Them a part of His Kingdom, and They would eat and drink at His table in His Kingdom, and They would set upon thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel......

Luke 22:28-30
28. Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

29. And I
appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;.

30. That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

Matthew 19:28
"And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

The 24 Elders are 12 of the Early Church Apostles and 12 of the Last Day Church Apostles.

John also saw the martyrs: those who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and had not worshipped the Beast or received His mark: and they reigned with Christ in His
Kingdom for 1,000 years.

But the rest of the dead "the wicked dead" lived not until after the 1,000 year Kingdom had come to an end.

Revelation chapter 20 Verse 5 and 6
5. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

This is the first resurrection, and blessed and holy is he who has part in that resurrection, for the SECOND DEATH, will have no power over them.

They are the ones that shall be priests of God and of Christ, and they shall reign with Him for 1,000 years in His Kingdom on the earth.

The SECOND DEATH is the death of the condemned soul, which was corrupted by the sin of the Devil.

The soul will be cut off from God's Spiritual Kingdom, and will be turned over to the God of Sin, whose nature the soul has yielded to, even as Lucifer was cut off from God when sin overcame Him in heaven.

Revelation chapter 20 Verses 7 and 8
7. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8. And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.”

After the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed for a season out of
His prison, and He goes out to deceive the nations, which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle.

Gog means "person or prince". Magog means "person or people". This is the last and final attempt of Satan to conquer God and His Kingdom.

It takes place immediately after His release and the resurrection of the wicked dead. Remember this is a Spiritual war, conducted with resurrected bodies who have died to the flesh.

Gog and Magog are the wicked dead who are deceived.

Satan's great Antichristal Leadership, as god of the world, enabled Him during the Tribulation Reign, to bring about a great deception, and a following which tried to overthrow Christ and His Church.

He failed and now He goes into the four quarters of the earth to deceive the wicked resurrected dead.

These are the ones who did not have a part in the Battle of Armageddon, whom He deceived and caused to believe that they could overthrow Christ and His Church.

This is a SPIRITUAL BATTLE which takes place after both resurrections, and ALL the wicked dead are deceived into believing that they can take the SPIRITUAL BATTLE. This is ALL THE WICKED DEAD, FROM THE CREATION OF THE EARTH.

Revelation 20 Verse 9
"And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."

The "Beloved City" is the Bride of Christ with Her Husband, THE WORD...

Revelation 19:11-16
11. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many
crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14.
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16.
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

After the Battle of Gog and Magog, She will be taken into the New Heaven and Earth, and will become the "City New Jerusalem"....

Revelation 21:1
"And I saw a new heaven and a
new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."

Jesus is the King of the 1,000 year Reign or Kingdom Age, and He is confined in the boundary of His Wife. The TWO have become ONE.

Jesus is the HEAD and He sits upon the throne. With Him are the Four and Twenty Elders, (the Apostles of the Lamb) and the Four Living Ones in the midst of the throne, and around and about the throne.

The Apostles receive the promise made to them by Jesus, that They would sit with Him in His Kingdom upon thrones, judging the 12 tribes of Israel...

Luke 22:30

“That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

They are rewarded for their part in the ministry, and the
production of the City New Jerusalem...

Ephesians 4:10-13
10. He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.

11.
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12.
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13.
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

This happy union in the Promised Kingdom Age, with all the resurrected Righteous, are blessed together as they enjoy the Kingdom Rest of the Father. This is the time of the "Honeymoon" of the Bride and Groom.

The blessing and assurance of God's promise is seen in the rainbow as it shines around the throne throughout the Kingdom Reign.

Revelation 20:10

"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are,"

Revelation chapter 20 Verse 11

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”

This scripture speaks of the "Great White Throne, and He Who sat upon It. This is the judgment seat of God, set up to judge all wicked resurrected. Not even the wicked shall be condemned to death until they have been fairly tried.

Revelation 20 Verse 12 and 13
12. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the
dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”…

The dead, both small and great, shall be judged. They stand before our Great Judge. They need no defense to plead their cause, no witnesses to testify, no need to plead for mercy, the days of the mercy seat are past.

Their acts and deeds have been recorded in the Books, so the Books are opened and their record testifies of their wicked deeds. They become an open book before the Judge.

The Book of Life (the Bible) is opened, which condemns them to eternal hell. All are judged according to their works which are recorded in the Books. They were fore-warned that they would have to give an account of the deeds done in the flesh.

Revelation 20:12
"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."...

1 Peter 1:17
"And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:"

So we see, ALL ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE …..

Revelation 20:13

"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. "

Revelation chapter 20 Verse 14

"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This the SECOND DEATH."
....

The second death is like unto the first death, only "this death" is of a
Spiritual nature, while the first death was the death of the flesh.

The first death takes place while the fleshly kingdom was yet in existence but the SECOND DEATH takes place after the resurrection into the Spiritual Realm. In the first death the soul did not actually die to eternity, but it merely died to the fleshly realm, when it departed there from.

Even so in the second death, the soul dies out to God when it is cut off from the paradise of God's eternal Kingdom by its being severed from His Spirit...

Job 27:8

"For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?"....

Herein is upheld the truth of life after death, even as Paul declares, we can be dead in trespasses and sins, yet the soul lives on. While we walk in sin we live in death, we are dead to God, for we live in the Devil. The soul liveth, whether in sin or in righteousness.

The SECOND DEATH is the death to God. When the soul dies to God it lives entwined in the spirit of the Devil in eternity.

Every soul must die to the flesh, regardless which Master they serve. The REDEEMED live on in God, while the wicked are severed from God to live on in the wicked spirit.

All souls are of God, therefore they belong to Him...

Ezekiel 18:4,
"Behold, all souls
are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die."...

Until He severs the wicked souls from Himself unto eternal damnation, and turns them over to the Spirit of Sin.....This is what is meant by the soul that sinneth, it shall die. They are cut off from God, and they die to God and live in the Devil.

Death and hell are cast into the lake of fire, this the SECOND DEATH. There will be no more death.

The soul can never be cut off from the Devil for it was from God. He is doomed for eternity. There will be no more graves, and no more rest for the soul, judgment has been pronounced.

This is the beginning of a NEW eternity for the wicked, with fire and brimstone, where the worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched.

This is not a literal fire, but the Fire of God. It is a Fire that burns eternally but never consumes. This is eternal hell's Fire for the wicked.
